In a world where it takes so much effort just to get through the day, why make time to work on what’s going on inside? Why should someone like me spend time seeking out my highest potential, when daily life is so complicated?

Because You Are a Hero

Inside every one of us, there is greatness.

A hero lying dormant, waiting for its chance to come out and light up the world.

You may not sense it all the time, but you have sensed it at one time or another. You might have heard your call to greatness when you were just a child, still full of wonder and possibilities. Or maybe it was triggered last year when you went on vacation and saw something that filled you with awe. Or maybe you can’t help but hear the quiet mantra of “you’re meant for something more” every day.

No matter when you last took notice, something inside of you wants to wake up and fulfill your potential. Isn’t it time to stop being ordinary? Isn’t it time to accept that you were meant to be extraordinary?

So Stop. Stop being average. Stop settling. Stop living a life you will look back on one day and regret.

Start taking steps to seek out your best self, your true self. Read, learn, expand your mind, awaken your understanding, broaden your perspective.

Risk taking action, risk dreaming big, risk going after what you want. Take the chance at a life that resonates with who you truly are.

There will always be a million reasons why you shouldn’t dare, or why it’s impractical now, or why you’re not ready. But if you wait until those pieces fall into place you will lose your life to waiting. You have to start now. You have to start when you want it, not when you’re ready.

Dare to look past your present limitations and into the whirlwind of possibilities inside of you, and out into the universe. The only way you can be sure to fail is to never try.

The Age of Heroes

We live in a world inundated with stories about heroes: Avengers, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Avatar. These are some of the highest grossing box office hits at the movies, and there’s a reason why. We love to watch them change their worlds.

Mahatma Gandhi, Harriet Tubman, Albert Einstein, William Wallace, and Cesar Chavez are people whose stories continue to inspire us today.

These examples show us just how much we love to see great people do remarkable things. Maybe the reason we’re so drawn to these stories is more than just admiration? Maybe we also recognize that greatness inside of ourselves.

Don’t ignore your forest fire of passion. Embrace it. Use that passion to leave your mark on the world. Heroes don’t accept that they can’t save the day, stop the war, rescue the innocent, or create the future. So why do you?

You have just as much potential to be extraordinary as anyone who has ever lived or been imagined.

It’s Never Too Late; You’re Never Too Small.

Don’t give up. It may seem like too big a proposition, but it’s not. There is that much greatness inside of you.

It may have been buried at some point, but you can unearth it. Life has some tough moments that can take a toll on your outlook. It’s hard to feel great when you’re afraid you can’t make ends meet, or you’re exhausted and worried about getting through your next shift at work. It’s easy to feel painfully small and inconsequential at times.

But so did Fredrick Douglass, Helen Keller, Martin Luther King Jr., and Nelson Mandela.

That’s what makes us all great. That’s what makes us all heroes: our deep desire to rise up, despite the struggles of daily life.

Where Do You Start?

Right here. That is the true reason we started this site. Because someone, somewhere, will do something great. Why not make it you?

In our hearts, we believe there are heroes inside each and every one of us. And we want nothing more than to encourage and guide the hero in you out of hiding.

If you’re reading this, we believe it is your time. Become the hero in your story. Take action and leave your unique mark on this beautiful world. This opportunity came to you because you are ready to grow.

Together we can be the comets that crash to earth and shatter what isn’t working. We can be the force for change that history remembers. Let’s change the world.

“We are born with whirlwinds, forest fires, and comets inside us. We are born able to sing to birds and read the clouds and see our destiny in grains of sand.” ~Robert R. McCammon
